Founded in 1977, the Institut de médiation et d'arbitrage du Québec (IMAQ) is a non-profit organization that serves as Quebec's leading multidisciplinary association and accreditation center for mediators and arbitrators. Its mission is focused on promoting and developing mediation, arbitration, and other alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods.

With more than 500 accredited members from some 15 professional orders working in all sectors of economic and social activity, our members include lawyers, notaries, human resources consultants, engineers, chartered professional accountants, psychologists, nurses, social workers, certified administrators, and other professionals.
